| Afghan dog Laila and her brother Patch have at last met up again for a playful reunion in the exercise paddock at the Shelter. Both dogs spent several months in quarantine together last year before Pen Farthing homed Patch, and Laila came to Happy Landings where she has now been adopted by a member of staff. The two dogs were from a little of six puppies rescued from deep within Helmand Province and, against all the odds, made it to the rescue centre. Now all are happily homed in the UK. A big thank you to Pen and the Nowzad team for their much valued support to Happy Landings. To find out more about their work visit www.nowzaddogs.co.uk | ||
