Coco came to us for re-homing after her elderly owner had to go into a home and Coco was left home alone. She is around 8 years old and a very special girl.
Coco has been used to a very quiet home with just one elderly lady as company and the freedom to come and go as she pleased. She was not used to visitors and has found the sudden change in her life of coming into rescue very difficult to deal with. Coco has made a massive amount of progress in her time with us and has slowly gone from constantly hiding and hissing, staying in just one spot the whole time, to slowly beginning to find her feet, trying the different beds and levels in the den…beginning to eat properly, stopping hissing….then slowly, slowly greeting us at breakfast time, allowing a little tickle. She has proven herself to be quite the lap cat once she knows and trusts you – so lovely to see.
Coco is looking for a very special person who will have the patience and understanding to give her all the time and space she needs to settle into a new home. Coco`s ideal would be for another quiet 1:1 home with good outside space that she can explore once she is ready to go outdoors.
