40 in 40 Appeal:

This year Happy Landings is celebrating its 40th anniversary. As a small local charity, we are proud of our heritage and what we have achieved over the last 40 years, and we are so very grateful to our dedicated team of animal care staff and volunteers without which we would not be here!

However, the impact of the last few years and the cost-of-living crisis will be felt for some time. To enable us to continue our much-needed work, we urgently need your support to help us feed, care for and provide veterinary treatment to animals. Our work cannot stop, and we desperately need a helping hand.

Over the next year, we are hoping to raise £40,000 which will help cover some of the increased costs and funding/donation losses we have endured as a result of the current climate. Your donation will help to provide vaccinations, food, neutering, veterinary treatment, and general care for all our animals.

WAYS IN WHICH YOU CAN HELP US.

If you would like to support us, you can do so in several other ways.

Consider running an event or raising funds, maybe by sitting in a bath of beans?!?!
Ask your children’s school or college to get involved and run some fundraisers for us,
Workplaces fundraisers are a great way to increase employee engagement by having fun and raising much-needed funds at the same time!
Spread the word about us; help us ensure that we are here to help the animals for the coming year.

DONATING ITEMS

Happy Landings greatly appreciates items given as donations and currently need: Unopened dog, cat, rabbit, guinea pig food, dog dentastixs, dog / cat / rabbit treats, natural dog chews (e.g. pig’s ears)- no rawhide, human tins of fish or meat (for training and enrichment, enrichment)toys for dogs / cats / rabbits, rabbit hay, toilet rolls / kitchen roll, liquid soap. You can drop them at our white box by the front gate.

We kindly ask that you do not leave the following items (as we have to dispose of them at a cost to us): quilts, pillows, blankets or used dog or cat beds.
