Sparrow & Wren

Wren and Sparrow came to us as terrified semi-feral juveniles. Having lived in a quiet, rural home with just one elderly gentleman taking care of them, a cattery environment full of strange cats and people was utterly overwhelming and the girls really struggled to cope. It took us months of work to finally reach a point where they could enjoy interaction with main staff and a chin tickle finally became enjoyable and chasing a toy on a string good fun. Their shyness put a lot of people off wanting to offer them a new home and they stayed at Happy Landings for a long time….worth the wait though, just look at them now! Shy little Wren (now “Meg”) has been photographed scaling huge trees, whilst worried little Sparrow (now “Millie”) is a proper little sofa-hog!
